OVERVIEW
The National Retail Organization (NRO) is looking for a Walmart Retail Operations & Store Development Lead to join our team. We’re seeking an Engaging Leader who is adaptable and has a growth mindset, can develop winning plans and strategies, have a positive impact on the team, and have fun! This role is focused on the Walmart retail business and has responsibility for delivering competitively advantaged results at Walmart by partnering with and influencing key stakeholders, including NRO Management, Operating Unit/customer teams, and vendors. This role leads the building of robust plans and executions against programs sold across the NRO, with an emphasis on communication and subject matter expertise. This role works with and through others to achieve results and will help you develop people management skills, with direct responsibility for 3 Retail Operations Analysts (ROAs) to support the plans and executions.
This role is remote eligible. Relocation assistance will not be provided as this role can be done from any location in the United States.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
EXECUTIONAL EXCELLENCE
- Lead planning details, selling materials and tools development for Retail Programs (Selling & Display)
- Partner and collaborate with OU/Customer Teams to understand key needs and business context
- Partner and influence NRO Retail Sales Leads, Retail Area Managers, and Retail Customer Managers to understand key needs and opportunities
- Deliver clear and streamlined communication at all levels to drive seamless planning and execution
- Take personal accountability and ownership for results, deeply understands consumers, deliver market leading innovation and prioritize what’s important
PROBLEM SOLVING & ANALYTICS
- Gather and analyze syndicated data (e.g., from Nielsen, NRO, consumers and/or customers) to identify opportunities to drive sales volume through implementation of retail strategies
- Lead development of analytics and reporting to support cadence of accountability in partnership with NRO Data & Analytics Manager
- Responsible for post-sale analytics and sharing learnings across all stakeholders
ENGAGING LEADER
- Model Engaging Leader behaviors to foster an inclusive environment, embrace a learning mindset, and demonstrate personal accountability
- Development of onboarding and training curriculum for Retail Operations Analysts (ROAs)
- Actively coach the upskilling of capabilities for Retail Operations Analysts (ROAs)
- Manage and develop three direct reports – Retail Operations Analysts (ROAs)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience in Sales, Account Management, Trade Marketing, Category Management, Operations, or other relevant retail experience
- 2+ years of people management experience. This role will manage 3 direct reports
- Successful demonstration of analytical skills using various data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Customer and/or Consumer data)
- Must be highly skilled in software packages (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Walmart retail experience

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $77900.00 – $117000.00 / Annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
