GAI Consultants is seeking a Substation Engineering Technical Leader. This position will be involved with substation engineering and physical design, overall project management, client interaction/development, proposal preparation, technical guidance/training/mentoring of staff, design reviews, scheduling, staffing, invoicing, budget control, QA/QC enforcement and business development related to all aspects of electrical substation and protections & controls design services. The successful candidate will work on various substation and/or protection and control engineering projects including detailed design for high voltage substation projects through 500kV. Bachelors of Engineering (required)
Bachelors of Business Administration (preferred)
Current Professional Engineer (PE) Certification (required)
Experience with grounding software (preferred)
10 years: Substation Physical and/or Protection & Controls engineering design experience in projects ranging up to 500kV (required)
