Your areas of responsibility:
Identifying and developing new business opportunities with OEM customers.
Managing and maintaining relationships with existing OEM customers.
Collaborating with internal teams to develop new products and improve existing ones.
Conducting market research and keeping abreast of industry trends and developments.
Acts as the primary point of contact for product and application expertise for related assigned product category. As primary point of contact, provides technical support, including but not limited to product recommendations and technical guidance, to Sales and customers.
Internal Stakeholders Management
– Primarily engages with members of key account management (KAM), business development (BD) and product managers (PM); develops end-user knowledge management for key OEM/Automotive Aftermarket projects to ensure desired product solution.
Lead all customer field trials and technical projects incl. technical communication to the customer. Coordinate sales team’s activities, coach if necessary and analyze the success of the trials, prepare internal and external written reports.
Provide technical and product category training and support to external and internal stakeholders (i.e. customers, KAMs, BDMs, etc.)Collaborate with Product Manager for activities supporting product life cycle management, approvals and training.
Creating and executing product marketing plans and strategies.
Develop proposals for new products and applications based on customer and market requirements.
Stay abreast on industry trends, new technologies, competitive activity, customer regulatory awareness related to automotive lubricants product category.
Qualifications we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Science related backgrounds.
3+ years of either Business, Engineering, or Sales experience.
Strong Knowledge of the automotive industry.
Open to travel (40-50% overnight).Comfortable working in a Hybrid work setting.
