As a Senior Recruiter, Corporate you will own the full talent acquisition cycle, understanding how to source quickly and creatively, while always keeping candidate experience top of mind. Serving as a consultant to hiring managers and senior leaders, you will build relationships while strategically partnering with the business to advise and drive the hiring process. You will be an innovative thinker, with an ability to anticipate the future, focusing on proactive networking, diversity hiring, and innovative approaches to passive candidate engagement while continually building and engaging your talent pipeline. Senior Recruiters have a keen understanding that recruiting is not just about connecting the right people with the right job, but building long term connections to the Forever 21 brand.
Partner with hiring managers to lead a collaborative search effort, acting as a thought partner and advisor to refine position specifications, create compelling job postings, build qualified candidate pools and successfully fill open positions within your assigned client group.
Source passive prospects to build an active pipeline of qualified candidates using innovative research and sourcing methods to hire for hard to fill roles in a highly competitive market.
Assess qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, leveraging ATS, passive candidate pipelines, industry networking, and/or employee referrals.
Screen and evaluate applicants presented to hiring managers for competence, background and skill set, as well as overall ability to fit and thrive within the organization.
Consult with hiring managers and senior leaders on the current recruitment environment affecting their recruitment needs; providing consulting and advisory services for strategies to overcome obstacles in the hiring process.
Partner with the Compensation Team to gather relevant compensation data and help ensure pay ranges remain current based on external market conditions.
Capture and maintain all relevant candidate information in the applicant tracking system.
Train and mentor junior team members on the complexities of recruitment and recruiting techniques.
Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field (e.g. Business Management, Communications) or an appropriate subject area is preferred
6-8 years of experience as an internal or agency recruiter is essential combined with 3+ years within the fashion/retail and/or consumer product space
Specific Talent Acquisition expertise related to assigned client groups combined with several years of hands-on experience recruiting for similar roles
Demonstrated experience working in a proactive sourcing model engaging with passive candidates
Excellent communication skills, ability to drive cross-functional relationships and establish credibility within and outside of the organization
Strong aptitude for influencing and negotiating
Possess a strong sense of urgency with an ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment
Organized and able to manage competing priorities
Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage ambiguity
Demonstrated track record of driving successful inclusion and diversity strategies across the recruiting process
Tech savvy with the latest tools and techniques for candidate sourcing and assessment
Understanding of HR practices/principles and applicable regulations as they relate to the sourcing and recruitment process
