Flatiron Venture is seeking a talented and motivated Photo Editor to join our team. As a Photo Editor, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the visual content of our firm. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to determine the visual content requirements of the firm
- Edit and retouch photos to ensure high-quality, visually appealing results
- Manage and organize a large volume of digital assets, ensuring everything is easily accessible and well-structured
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in photo editing
- Work closely with photographers and designers to provide creative direction and support
- Ensuring that all visual content meets brand guidelines and standards
- Collaborate with other departments to determine the visual needs for various projects and events
Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and other photo editing software
- Strong understanding of composition, color correction, and retouching techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of copyright regulations and best practices in regards to image usage and licensing
