POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will be based in Jacksonville, FL, and reports to the Director of IT.

The Sr IT Support Technician is responsible for network, database, and application management, data entry, updating system hardware and software, troubleshooting system errors to completion, and assisting team members in supporting all data security and system optimizations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support internal and external customers by responding to help desk tickets/calls.
• Provide end user training on database processes, procedures, and tools.
• Work with all parties to resolve Database conflicts according to established practices.
• Build, optimize, and load windows images.
• Coordinate, facilitate, manage, and control scheduled and approved changes in database information.
• Support and maintain user information including rights, security, and system groups.
• Configuration of switches, Wi Fi, and Firewall devices.
• Configure, maintain, and inventory Telecom devices company wide.
• Data input, extraction, storage, organization, and database report generation.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software helpdesk requests.
• Document and maintain IT device inventories.
• User account management to include Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365
• Apple and Microsoft product management, configuration, and distribution.
• Information Technology device repair, inventory, configuration, and distribution.
• Prioritize and escalate issues to IT Director, as Necessary.
• Assist with testing and implementation of IT projects including installation, configuration and customization of internal and external software and devices.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High school, Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or 6 years related experience providing IT hardware and Software Deployment, troubleshooting, and Problem Resolution support to end users. Valid Drivers license and reliable transportation required.

CompTIA A+ Network+ and Security+ certifications preferred

• Advanced understanding of Microsoft product suite; Microsoft certifications preferred
• Experience in IT support for medium or large organizations preferred

• Microsoft Teams
• PowerShell
• Office 365 Admin Center
