*Talent Acquisition Specialist Job Summary: *
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will report directly to the HR Director and will perform duties associated with the day-to-day operation and function of our HR needs. Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining recruiting efforts and establishing optimal strategies. Specific responsibilities include the following functional areas: recruiting; on-boarding; management of the Fire Catt portal and employee relations with the opportunity to be involved in other aspects of HR in the future.
*Talent Acquisition Specialist Qualifications and Requirements: *
* Must have an Associate or bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent experience
* Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written skills
* Proven success in a previous recruiting role and previous experience recruiting with Indeed, LinkedIn, and other job boards
* 3–5-year experience with recruiting, interviewing, and on-boarding new employees
* Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States
* Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
*Talent Acquisition Specialist Main Responsibilities: *

* Recruit for all open positions within the company using job boards and other avenues to create a successful strategy
* Establish and develop relationships with outside agencies such as colleges, technical schools, job agencies, to ensure the company is participating in job fairs and be a part of local events
* Keep accurate confidential personnel files and ensures all paperwork is collected within required time-frames and ensures regulatory compliance
* Conduct new employee orientation
* Facilitate onboarding and off boarding workflows
* Participate in employee engagement programs
* Assist with policies, procedures and regulatory reporting requirements
* Ensures that the Fire CATT portal contains correct employee information
* Provides employment documentation as requested by legal entities for the purposes of unemployment, worker’s compensation, employment and income verification, etc.
* Performs other duties as assigned
