Clario seeks a Director, HRIS to join our growing HR team!
Reporting to the VP, People Operations, we are looking for a strategic leader for our global HR Information Systems team.
You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s Workday platform and associated technology solutions; you will consult with members of the IT, HR, and management teams to analyze the needs of the business, You will further ensure that HR data is captured accurately, that HR processes and system workflows meet the business needs and maximize efficiency and effectiveness, and reporting/analytics are automated, insightful and evolve with the business. You will be be on the lookout for and evaluating leading edge technologies that support and further expand the capabilities of the HR function and the business (e.g., workforce planning, learning and development, talent and career planning), and create an exceptional employee experience.
What’s involved –
Act as a strategic business partner, providing support to Human Resources and management teams globally by:
Developing HRIS strategy by analyzing business needs and delivering solutions on how to best utilize the HRIS platforms
Providing expertise, advice and counsel on the effective use of Workday including configuration & optimization across the Workday Human Capital Management Suite, building integrations between Workday, the company’s internal systems & HR’s external vendors, and providing actionable reports/dashboards.
Leading HR Technology. Implement and/or optimize digital technology (e.g., Workday, Service Now ticketing system, intranet/ knowledge management, AI, BOTS, etc.). Oversee digital offerings, HR technology, support, and governance, and business continuity. Optimize and innovate digital solutions, predictive analytics, and process excellence. Oversee integrations to other Company systems (e.g., Active Directory, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Travel & Entertainment, Purchasing, Business Continuity/Emergency, etc.) and to all HR vendors (e.g., payroll, health & insurance, retirement, relocation, tax consulting, immigration counsel, etc.).
Leading People Analytics. Establish advanced Workday HR dashboards, reporting and analytics capabilities. Establish Prism Analytics to integrate Workday HR data with other Company data (e.g., General Ledger, Salesforce, etc.). Establish Big Data Analytics to integrate Workday HR data with other HR vendor data (e.g., employee & manager surveys, salary benchmarking data, etc.). Enhance analytical capabilities of the HRIS/Analytics team and of the HR overall function.
Ensuring our HRIS and HR systems are updated to support the business operating model and to reflect changes to global regulatory requirements, organization structure, roles, competency models, career path frameworks, etc.
Working closely with IT and IT Operations to ensure that enterprise policies and procedures are adhered in relation to system releases, incident management, outages, change control, etc.
Delivering solutions supporting all HR functional disciplines including Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Talent Management, Learning and Development, and Talent Acquisition
Conducting meetings and working closely with IT, HR, and management to improve HR business processes and reporting and analytics available to the organization
Providing guidance and input on process design and improvement to increase efficiencies within the organization
Leading through process excellence and demonstrating effective project management skills for complex projects as well as anticipating likely risks and implementing mitigation plans
Developing and maintaining change management best practices and training programs for end users to continuously be able to utilize the system effectively
Taking ownership for successful product outcomes and anticipating needs across HR functions, system development/IT, HR operations, and production support teams
Manage the HRIS team strategy and budget by:
Aligning Workday initiatives with the goals of the business and developing the HRIS roadmap to support successful adoption of the system
Determining project priorities based on business needs
Determining Workday metrics for success and evaluating on a quarterly basis, taking corrective action when necessary to bridge any gaps
Partnering closely with stakeholders in both HR and IT to communicate status, share knowledge and overall process improvement
Providing leadership, process, and technical guidance for HRIS initiatives
Creating project plans, maintaining and directing tasks, and ensuring timely and efficient implementation of projects. Actively engaging and supporting end users through all phases of the project life cycle, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction through timely communication and consistent completion of deliverables within critical timelines. Participating in the annual budget process and forecasting the needs of the HRIS team
Performs management functions for the HRIS team
Other projects and duties as assigned
What we seek –
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field experience required
8+ years Human Resources experience with focus in Workday HRIS with three years managing a function
Working knowledge of HR practices required
Experience working with computer software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
Experience in complex global organizations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality a must
Ability to work in group setting and independently; ability to adjust to changing priorities
Excellent attention and orientation toward meticulous work; strong organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to maintain professional and positive attitude
Travel up to 25%
