As a Software Business Development Associate, you will support high-level Cisco software business development, renewals, and the overall growth of Cisco software at ePlus. You will work with the Business Development Executive on an existing customer base supporting and driving new subscriptions and Enterprise Agreements.
You will serve as an overlay resource within an assigned territory, driving awareness, training, and pipeline development. This job will require teaming with both internal ePlus and Cisco teams across multiple job functions, including sales, renewals, services, and customer success.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Primary territory liaison with the Software Business Development Executive responsible for driving measured ePlus Cisco software sales growth by preparing analyses, Excel pivots, PowerPoint presentations, other administrative tracking of various types, etc.
- Build Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW) and Enterprise Agreement Management Portal (EAMP) software configurations and help create customer-facing value-based proposals. Experience with Cisco’s CCW, CCW-R, EAMP, PowerPoint or similar tools preferred.
- Analyze and prioritize selling activity within existing accounts that will drive efficient renewals and sales growth of Cisco software sales.
- Collaborate and foster teamwork with the ePlus and Cisco field sales, renewals, services and customer success teams to drive outcome-based solutions based on Cisco software solutions and ePlus services.
- Provide accurate forecasting of ePlus Cisco software sales for assigned regions.
- Meet or exceed financial targets for ePlus Cisco software sales.
- Teamwork is essential in this position; collaborating with existing ePlus and Cisco field sales teams, Services, and renewal teams and customer success teams to drive mutual success will be crucial.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
- Two to five years of IT industry experience preferred
- Ability to communicate and work with customers to receive necessary data elements
Position Specifics:
The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $60,000 and $80,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Physical Requirements of Position:
Ability of finger dexterity to be used primarily to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together. Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands and / or fingers. Speech ability must be at a level where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly. Hearing ability must be at a level to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. Visual ability must be average with ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery. Physical strength for sedentary work with sitting most of the time. May have to exert or lift up to 10 – 20 pounds of force occasionally.
