Enjoy control engineering that includes programming, hardware design, CAD drafting, testing, and start-up for our clients. Our clients’ projects are diverse and include custom automated assembly and/or test machines, along with continuous production processes. You will interact daily with project managers, mechanical engineers, automation engineers, sales, application engineers, purchasing, technicians, and electricians to facilitate successful and timely completion of projects.
On a daily basis, you can expect to:
Lead kick-off and project requirement meetings.
Complete advanced design, development and testing of electrical equipment and systems, industrial process control systems, computers, computer systems and networks, and computer software.
Conduct the installation, commissioning and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
Conduct advanced PLC Programming; HMI Design, Electrical Design; Commissioning; Troubleshooting/Testing/Debugging.
Create and update project documentation.
Support field service work and emergency calls at client locations.
Assist with quoting projects, writing specifications, and creating schedules and technical reports.
Give technical guidance to less experienced engineers/controls specialists or technicians assigned to work on a common project.

Requirements:
2 year automation technology degree or 4 year degree in electrical engineering
Minimum of 3 years of HMI/PLC programming experience with Rockwell or Siemens programs
Minimum of 3 years of electrical design experience utilizing AutoCAD Electrical
Proficiency in Outlook/Microsoft Office products
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
Hold valid driver’s license with ability to drive to client sites
