EMEA Recruitment Looking for Head of Operational Controlling Process Design at Basel, Schweiz Full Time

My client, a global manufacturing business in the life sciences sector, is looking for a talented individual to join its Head of Operational Controlling Process Design.

This is a critical role that will help ensure transparent, reliable, and accurate internal management reporting across all divisions.

You will work closely with various teams across all divisions to translate global business requirements into standardised policies, and drive simplification in the area of overheads and product costing.

In this role, you will be an individual contributor, but will be required to build teams and resources for projects, so influencing skills will be a key asset.

The company is in a strong growth phase, so you will have a high level of visibility, and strong potential for future progression and development.

To be successful in this Head of Operational Controlling Process Design role, you will have:

• Extensive working experience in Operational Controlling – experience in a manufacturing environment would be essential, life sciences would be desirable
• Minimum degree level education in Finance or related subject – a master’s level degree or further professional Accounting qualifications would be desirable
• Both operational experience in Production Controlling and/or Group Controlling, as well as prior experience developing policies, processes, and best practice in this area
• Strong business partnering and advisory skills, plus the ability to present complex problems to senior management in a clear and concise manner
• Prior experience working in SAP is essential
• Project management skills
