Job Overview:

The Technical Designer will help take garments from concept to shelf-ready products. They will help develop tech packs for designs, attend garment fittings to provide input/feedback, review samples from oversea vendors and ensure that the finished product meets the company’s high-quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Create tech packs for designs provided by the Design department which includes measurement specifications, construction details, label and packaging information and sketches
• Attend garment fittings and provide input/feedback on fit and any necessary pattern corrections required to achieve desired fit
• Review samples from overseas vendors for measurements and construction
• Work on the continued improvement of our tech pack information by adding points of measure sketches, and logo placement sketches
• Provide comments and feedback to outside vendors on samples

Requirements & Qualifications:

• College degree in technical design, fashion design or related field required
• Knowledge of garment construction required
• Strong Microsoft office skills, including Word and Excel
• Strong Illustrator skills
• Enjoys working as part of a creative and highly engaged team!
