The Opportunity
As the Head of Sales at EF Ultimate Break, you’ll be at the forefront of driving conversion, revenue growth and market share among Gen Z and Millennial travelers. You’ll own all aspects of our indies and group sales strategy and be responsible for leading, mentoring and developing a dynamic, high-energy, driven team. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving conversion and revenue growth among Gen Z and Millennial consumers – leveraging your understanding their behavior, values and communication preferences to create sales approaches that resonate with this audience. In addition to identifying market trends, competitive insights and growth opportunities, you’ll also act as a thought-partner to the President and collaborate with cross-functional departmental heads on business opportunities and challenges.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy leveraging market trends, data and competitive insights
Identify emerging trends, patterns in customer behavior and feedback and market shifts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize customer acquisition and conversion rates and optimize the sale process
Set and promote sales goals; track and communicate key performance metrics
Ideate, develop and test new sales strategies and tactics
Provide hands-on leadership, problem-solving and coaching to team of 10-15 entry-level salespeople; recruit and train new talent
Foster a culture of innovation, adaptability and customer-centricity
Provide regular sale performance updates to the sales team as well as the leadership team
The Requirements
Bachelors degree with at least 10-years of sales leadership experience
Familiarity and demonstrated experience with Gen Z and Millennial consumer behavior
Highly-analytical problem solver with growth mindset
Must have experience managing a transactional sales team & process
Experience managing and developing entry-level sales staff as well as with sales managers
Experience developing and innovating on a pipeline management process
Proven track record of innovating on sales processes and developing new sales strategies
Call center, eCommerce and B2C experience a plus
Experience with Salesforce
