Title of Position: Education Faculty Member – Spring 2024 Start
Bargaining Unit /
Salary Range: MEA Faculty Unit; $48,846.97 – $58,325.83 Dependent upon Qualifications & Experience.
Responsibilities: EMCC is looking to fill a full-time Temporary Education Faculty member to begin
January 8th, 2024. The chosen candidate will teach the equivalent of a full load of courses in Education which is 15 credits /
contact hours with an emphasis on students in Pre-K – 12 settings.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ø
Master’s in Education, Child Development, or closely related field. Three to five years of work experience in Pre-K-12 environments.
Prior experience with course and curriculum development. Experience teaching in a variety of formats, including in person, online and
hybrid/virtual.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ø Two years’ teaching experience in a community
college. Experience developing and working with community partners. Ability to support at-risk students. Program and curriculum development
skills. Collaborative, creative and passionate about teaching and learning.
