Position Summary:
The Finance Analytics Lead for TEN will report to the CFO and will be responsible for TEN’s ongoing corporate and business analytics and reporting. The role will also be supporting the CFO and the executive team in key M&A, and transactional modeling and analytics.
Responsibilities
Corporate Finance:
Lead budgeting, reporting, and forecasting processes for TEN.
Primary responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly financial reporting and analysis focused on key business drivers and identify noteworthy business insights for senior management
* Generate monthly and quarterly variance analysis of business performance versus annual budget and prior forecasts
* Manage and maintain TEN long-range planning and forecasting models
* Evaluate financial and operational results to ensure alignment with Senior Management priorities and initiatives
* Assist in preparation of presentation materials for the quarterly TEN Board of Directors meeting
* Act as liaison with parent company FP&A team to provide timely reporting and support as required
* Support CFO on various FP&A activities
Business and Operational Analysis:
Perform a variety of financial, business, and operational analysis and modeling.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update corporate and departmental level metrics and analyze current and past trends for guidance to future decisions
* Provide analytical assistance to the business through assuming a key role in various special projects and improvement initiatives
* Assist in the preparation of executive-level presentations
Strategic Initiatives and Transaction Structuring:
Support CFO and CEO with Key corporate development and product development initiatives
Primary Responsibilities:
* Lead valuation modeling and quantitative support for M&A activities
* Create profitability and return on investment analysis for transactions and product launches
* Other as needed analysis to support corporate and product strategy and structuring
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Quantitative Analysis, or related discipline.
* 5+ years of experience in financial planning, investment banking, or corporate development
* Advanced Knowledge of financial concepts and financial modeling
* Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS suite
* Preferred: MBA or equivalent
* Preferred: Experience in Renewable Energy or Construction industries
* Preferred: Working knowledge of Hyperion, Oracle, or other forecasting and budgeting software.
* Preferred: Working knowledge of Power BI
Skills:
* Excellent analytical ability analyzing budget variances and performing fluctuation analyses
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to communicate and discuss findings with Senior Management
* Ability to work independently while keeping key constituents and stakeholders informed and appropriately involved
* Aptitude to learn new concepts and skill sets
* Must be highly regarded for integrity, flexibility, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
* An entrepreneurial mindset
