What You’ll Do
Surface advertiser-relevant insights using our content classification system along with 1st party and 3rd party data. Develop and advance our analytical insights tools (using SQL, Tableau, R/Python) and capabilities to help our advertiser partners make data driven decisions.
Collaborate on projects with DDM(Dotdash Meredith) Sales, Editors, Lifestyle Experts, and Researchers to build and deliver compelling, data-driven, insights presentations for advertisers with clear action plans to activate the insights.
Use existing media research tools to perform research to surface insights for quick turn-around insight requests to help Sales respond to RFPs.
What We’re Looking For
Proficiency with SQL, Looker, and R/Python
Familiarity with various research sources: MRI-SIMMONS, MRI/Comscore Fusion, IPSOS Affluent, and Comscore.
Familiarity with research software from NewAge, Telmar, MEMRI or IMS.
Experience working with big data and taxonomy classification
Analytics experience with a technology company, media agency, consulting firm, or research company with a focus on surfacing actionable insights
A strong understanding of Audience, Brand, and/or ROI analytics
Applying creative thinking to find the best sales story and using all available resource information
Ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and effective manner to a range of audiences
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS in a relevant field
Minimum three to five years of research or data analysis experience, including quantitative and qualitative research and analysis, digital metrics and analytics, and audience measurement.

Advanced skills in data analysis, including statistical and competitive evaluation and synthesis

Strong writing and presentation skills
Ability to translate key learning and insights into actionable business and marketing strategies
Ability to present complicated analytical material in a concise and compelling manner
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Highly qualified candidates will have experience with at least three of the following:
Web Analytics: Google Analytics
SPSS, STATA, MATLAB
Tableau, Looker, Sisense
Strong coding skills with such languages as SQL, R, or Python
MRI-SIMMONS, MRI/Comscore Fusion, IPSOS Affluent, and Comscore
Client-facing presentation skills

Pay Range
Salary: $76,000 – $114,000
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Dotdash Meredith provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
