Job Summary
This position specifically supports the Patient Access team which is responsible for ADT, Cadence and HIM module(s) within Epic. Additionally the ideal candidate will be experienced and certified/proficient in Cadence, Cheers, Prelude or Release of Information. MyChart, RTE, Welcome, Referrals and Authorizations, or HIM experience is a plus
Heavy preference for Colorado applicants or applicants wanting to move to Colorado.
Under general direction, the Epic Application Analyst II is an Epic certified or proficient individual, who is responsible for the support, analysis, design, build, configuration, implementation, workflow documentation, and educational support of the assigned Epic application software, in alignment with organization’s policies, procedures, and business operations.
Is knowledgeable about Epic or healthcare IT system functions. Readily displays the ability to diagnose issues, identify appropriate resources and escalations, and propose creative solutions to complex problems.
Understands the functions and processes of key customer departments and can coordinate and communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholder groups.
Can function independently at the level that will allow them to participate in the 24×7 on-call rotation and coordinate and deliver team level project requests.
Works with the objective of delivering elegant solutions that are intuitive, empowering, efficient, scalable, sustainable, systems focused, and foundation based. Maximizes use of Epic foundation functionality to enhance user experience, limiting custom solutions when foundation tools are available.
Uses analytics to drive workflow changes and process decision. Develops measurements and tools for monitoring value and success of system changes. Facilitates a handoff of monitoring value and success to operations. We strive to maintain a 90% Epic enhancement adoption rate.
