We are looking for a talented Senior Graphic Designer to join our creative team in our Leawood, Kansas headquarters office.

The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating and executing design concepts to support DEMDACO’s bi-annual product launches, including both wholesale and consumer channels. This will include catalog layout, showroom and retail environmental signage, emails, print and digital ads, video and motion graphics, and other collateral to support the customer experience of the brand. The Senior Graphic Designer will work closely with the Art Director and will be responsible for owning completion of projects assigned to them. This person will participate in ideation and presentation of well-developed concepts to meet given objectives. They are part of the creative process and are expected to participate using their knowledge, experience and expertise in the field of design.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Creatively design print materials including catalogs, emails, ads, and other materials that communicate with wholesale and retail customers.
• Design and execute compelling graphics for a wholesale showroom environment.
• Design and execute compelling graphics for our retail store.
• Support the Art Director with consistent application of branding.
• Create custom video content as well as motion graphics that can be utilized across our wholesale and consumer channels.
• Support the Art Director in working with styling and photography team members to creatively solve problems and meet objectives.
• Assists in requesting bids on projects from printing vendors. Build, grow and maintain relationships with print vendors.

Required Experience:

Qualifications

• BFA in Graphic Design w/ 7 + years of experience preferred
• Working knowledge of production principles and professional printing language
• Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to be both creative and technical
• Organized with ability to manage several assignments.
• Enthusiasm for the creative and technical processes. Desire to explore, understand and use new software and other technological advancements related to our business.
• Ability to respond effectively and appropriately to creative feedback.
• Enthusiasm for motion graphics and video
