Working as part of a growing global recruitment team, you’ll use your skills and experiences to lead, shape and develop the US Talent Acquisition team, reporting to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition who is based in the UK.
More about the role:
As Head of US Talent Acquisition, you’ll have a pivotal position with ownership for the delivery of the US hiring number, as well as managing the growing US TA team, process improvement, strategy implementation and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the US. This is a hands-on position which blends implementation of strategy with delivery and operational excellence.
Delivery:
We continue to have ambitious growth targets, and you’ll own the US hiring number. The US team should always hit hiring their targets, with robust pipelines that can respond to rapidly changing business need. You’ll build relationships with our key agency partners as well as working with the team to drop agency usage and reduce spend
Strategy:
You’ll work with the senior leadership team to implement the strategic direction of the team, articulating that strategy activities to ensure that our TA processes and team are aligned for success.
Process improvement:
We are building TA processes which deliver at scale, pace and can be easily adjusted. Working with the wider People Team you’ll assess current US hiring practice and make suggestions for improvements, fine tuning to meet business need. Projects including psychometric assessment, increasing diversity within our workforce, and completion of our ATS implementation. You’ll have a view on best practice and will bring knowledge and experience to the team.
Team:
You’ll work with team on their career development plans, day-to-day issues and performance. You’ll have regular one-to-ones and team meetings to celebrate success and identify areas where your expertise can assist.
Data and reporting:
Working with the current team you’ll provide accurate and regular data and metrics to show activity and performance. You’ll use metrics to guide conversations with both stakeholders and internally with the team, you’ll spot issues before they become problems and measure success both quantitative and qualitatively.
Hiring
We have a hands-on culture and you’ll have ownership of some of the most senior roles and will also step-in when required to assist the team with interviewing and other day to day activities when needed. You’ll be briefing agencies, speaking to line managers and will be hands-on throughout.
