* Proactively acts as the “Health Center Training Specialist” who supports and advises the HRBPs and leadership and staff on all training and development matters and activities across the organization
* Ensures administrative ease-of-use, and user-friendliness of processes and tools to enhance organizational innovation and productivity, as well as boost employee motivation, engagement, enablement, productivity, and morale
* Partners with leadership and Human Resources to anticipate, support, and guide in these essential services and related activities across the organization:
o Culture: in partnership with leadership and Human Resources, plans, develops, implements, and monitors programs to foster, enable, and empower a cohesive, high-performance culture. Provides analyses, recommendations, and reports (scheduled and ad-hoc) to facilitate enhanced: values-based, mission-oriented teamwork, employee commitment and engagement, and productivity. Facilitates and supports individual and team activities to build trust and collaboration. o Training and Development: Plans, develops, implements, and monitors all training and development programs, policies, and tools to ensure affordability and effectiveness. Develops and delivers skills-training and professional development, including new supervisors and transfers; managerial training for employment practices; talent motivation, engagement, and retention strategies and practices; and succession planning. Produces Snack & Learns and workshops on relevant HR topics and various healthcare business topics.
o Needs Analysis: Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with leaders. Analyzes survey results and develops recommendations to ensure competitiveness for skills, compliance needs, culture-building and talent acquisition, motivation, engagement, and retention.
o Policies and Practices: evaluates, drafts, implements, and trains leaders and staff on operational policies, guidelines, and procedures; and in partnership with Human Resources and leadership, provides guidance, training, and interpretation for relevant programs, policies, and processes.
o Learning Management Systems: responsible for managing accuracy, follow-up, communication, reporting, and updates related to the Health Center’s learning management systems. Works with Human Resources and leadership on managing compliance of policies, documents, licensure, and training assignments and completion. Ensures accuracy of employee information to include new hires, terminations, and changes. Assigns, manages, and tracks staff progress on required training. Partners with leaders to upload and manage credentialing information (external transcripts, credentials, licenses, vaccinations, immunizations) in MedTrainer system.
* Prepares/facilitates new-hire orientation for Fund, health center, and provider partner staff
* In partnership with leaders and Human Resources, develops, manages, and reports on relevant performance metrics, and recommends and take actions to improve results
* Sets goals and achieves measurable results

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Years of Experience and Knowledge
* 3 ~ 5 years of direct experience in human resources or training and development
* Working knowledge of and experience in other core HR disciplines, including organization assessment and development, teambuilding, change management/leadership, culture and diversity
* Working knowledge of and experience with various HR systems, processes, policies, practices, procedures, and tools; process-oriented with a bias for simplification and standardization
Education, Licenses, and Certifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field or equivalent work experience required
* Preferred: Certification in employee training and development, project management, or Human Resources
Skills and Abilities
* Advanced level Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
* Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills
* Intermediate level system(s) skills in HRIS systems
* Preferred fluency (speak and write) in Spanish
* 15% ~ 25% travel, primarily within the Las Vegas area
* Highly effective presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively (in a relaxed, open style and approach)
* Effectively manages internal/external relationships and partnerships.
* Effectively envisions, develops, and implements pragmatically innovative strategies to address competitive, growth-oriented, and complex business, organizational, and workforce issues.

* Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
