To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Director of Human Resources opportunity, you will have:
• An undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources.
• Previous experience working in manufacturing and engineering-related organizations.
• A proven ability to lead culture change initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing HR initiatives that positively impact business results.
• A strategic mindset and the ability to develop and execute a 5-year HR roadmap.
You will work closely with the Vice President and General Manager of the Sensors & Mechatronics business unit as well as the corporate Vice President of Human Resources. Reporting to you will be an HR Manager and you’ll have indirect reporting relationships with HR contacts in the various locations. This position is responsible for driving strategic HR initiatives throughout the organization. Partnering closely with the business leaders, this position will identify, design and implement people-related solutions that will positively impact business goals. This position is based in our corporate headquarters in Lisle, Illinois, a small community that is part of the Chicago metropolitan area (“Chicagoland”) as well as the Illinois Technology and Research Corridor.
