The National Account Manager, In-Store Bakery (ISB) reports to the VP, National Retail Accounts ISB within Crown Bakeries. This position will be responsible for the Midwest, Southwest and West Coast Regions in relation to ISB business at Crown Bakeries. The National Account Manager will both develop and manage their assigned Customer Accounts and Brokers by focusing on growth within the current customer base along with a strong emphasis on acquiring and retaining new strategic customers to drive the overall profitability of the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain existing accounts and grow new business through key customer and broker relationships along with
efficient inventory management.
Responsible for achieving annual sales plan profitably through growth and penetration of existing and new customers.
Present new ideas and products from our existing Crown Bakeries portfolio to customers and brokers
Communicate with customers and brokers on performance of new products and programs.
Strong sales presentation skills to include building and presenting effective presentation decks, negotiating, and closing deals.
Work with VP-ISB on ideation and creation of new product development
Create position budget for Marketing, Travel, and all other expenses. Maintain and track performance to plan.
Ability to build strong relationships directly with customers and effectively manage the broker network to include key decision
makers.
Motivate and encourage our Broker Network to represent Crown Bakeries as a primary manufacturer.
Manage the AR collection process in conjunction with the finance team as it relates to DSD.
Assist the customer support team in delivery of purchase orders.
Create and present proposals to the broker networks, key customer decision makers and internal stakeholders.
Attend customer specific trade shows and national events (IDDBA / PLMA)
Other duties as assigned by the VP, In-Store Bakery
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Bachelor s Degree in business related field preferred, applicable experience will be taken into consideration in lieu of degree.
10+ years of In-Store Bakery Experience with established broker and customer network

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates predominately in the office environment, with secondary time in the field calling on brokers and customers. There may be times when this position is at the physical plant or distribution center. This employee may occasionally be exposed to facility elements such as extreme temperatures, noise, dust, fumes, and odors. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
