CPG Talent Management Looking for VP Logistics & Analytics – Freight Rail Transportation at Atlanta GA Full Time

The VP, Logistics and Analytics leads a global Business Unit responsible for the enterprise software portfolio for rail, shipper, and port customers, focusing on execution,optimization,automation,and visibility across inland transportation networks providing high quality solutions to our customers. S/He will be responsible for driving top-linegrowthalongwithmarginaccretion,workingcloselywithregionalandfunctionalteams. This global executive leadership role will have 8-10 direct reports over a global team of 250 indirect reports. Travel will be 80% in North America and 20% globally up to 50% when it is safe to do so.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead,motivateand develop a global cross-functional team to establish the strategic plan, grow product revenue and overall margin/market share
• Executeon key business growth initiatives and NPI programs by working closely with regional & functional teams
• Pursueinnovativesolutionsto answer customer needs, current and future
• Provideleadershipin the execution of operating plans to support overall business strategy, including budget management
• Buildstrongrelationshipswithcustomersto anticipate their challenges and help to design solutions.
• Leadmarketassessmentsto define and target opportunities for new products, features, and solutions, improving our market competitiveness and driving

  efficiency

• Identifygrowthopportunitiesviaadjacencies,alliances& partnerships, M&A and appropriately drive alignment with the relevant internal stakeholders
• Workacrossthe organization and identify opportunities to collaborate and share ideas across business units to improve scale and outcome
• Leadand guide multi-generational product plans that define the evolution of system features
• Developand deliver strategy presentations and progress reviews with senior leaders and customers
• Keepsabreastof industry developments including, but not limited to, changes in regulations and technology
• Collaboratewiththe global sales force to develop customer contacts and selling strategies
• Builda talent team, coaching, developing and creating a joyful work environment, and contributing to the business sustainability
