Our recently renovated luxury hotel in New York, Conrad New York Midtown, is seeking aSous Chefto join our Culinary Team!
Located in midtown Manhattan, this urban luxury hotel has over 500 rooms, 6,000 square feet in banquet space, and 2 food and beverage outlets. This includes the renovated 3-meal restaurant and in-room dining.
In this role, you will oversee the restaurant, in-room dining, and banquets managing a union staff of 40-50 and reporting directly to the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef.
The ideal candidate will be an exceptional leader with creativity, a passion for delivering exceptional cuisine, and driven to continue growing. At least two (2) years of kitchen leadership experience with a background in upscale and union environments is required.
What will I be doing?
As Sous Chef, you would be responsible for assisting with the direction and oversight of all culinary operations in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
