Company in Cranford is looking for a long term temporary Human Resources Generalist. Performs a variety of Human Resources duties and provides backup coverage to all members of the HR team. Essential Job Functions ” FMLA administration Support and provide back-up for all aspects of benefits administration Assign New Hire access to employee portal for onboarding, and follow up Train new hires on HR employee portal Assist with various HR initiatives including job description maintenance and compensation research Provide policy and procedure guidance to employees ASO Weekly 401(k) file submittals Act as back up for salaried 401(k) contribution submissions, loan applications etc. Weekly and semi-monthly remittance of HSA and FSA files Assist HR Manager with special projects as assigned Assist with input of information and maintenance of HRIS system Design HR communication pieces Employee Exit Interview Administration Qualifications 2+ years of experience in human resources field preferred Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred Advanced skills in standard office software packages, InDesign exp. helpful Ability to work a 40-hour work week, M-F, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., additional hours as needed
