We are seeking to hire a Vice President of People & Culture in Coconut Creek, FL. Reporting to the CFO, this will be a key member of the leadership team, and the face of HR. Your mission is to drive a consistent People & Culture strategy, develop and maintain a solid operational support framework, and promote our culture through our core values and our commitment to diversity across the company. You will partner with leadership to align our people strategy to driving business results as we scale.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a true generalist involved in all aspects of the Human Resources delivery to the organization.
• Transform and maintain the Human Resources function to support the achievement of the business vision, mission, values, and strategic imperatives.
• Design and implement programs in all areas including recruitment, retention, performance management, training, total rewards, compensation, workforce planning and employee engagement.
• Oversee company-wide initiatives that continuously improve associate engagement, enhance the associate experience and contribute to the organization’s reputation as a highly attractive environment in which to work and build a career.
• Develop compensation & benefits strategies that align to our core values and long-term success.
• Foster a high-performance culture.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding, through offboarding.
• Ensure efficient full-cycle talent acquisition process with strong internal processes and employer branding.
• Own culture status metrics, insights, and communications throughout the organization; work with operating leaders to ensure successful implementation of growth and change efforts.
• Build and lead the people operations function to ensure simplicity and exceptional employee experiences.
• Drive continuous HR process improvement, assessing, evaluating, and recommending HR models, tools, and technologies that optimize HR processes.
The person who would best fit this role will possess:
• Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in People /Human Resources positions.
• Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and curiosity to constantly seek to improve and refine programs, projects, processes, relationships, and culture in order to support the goals of the organization.
• Connector of people, programs, and information to integrate, influence, partner, and foster trusted advisor relationships with members and all levels of the organization.
• A solid understanding of how to measure and manage employee benefit plans and costs.
• Experience with compensation plan design.
• A strong financial acumen as it relates to human resources budgeting and planning.
• Strong experience in performance management, employee development trends, and best practices.
• Success managing projects and/or implementing process improvement initiatives for program cohesiveness across the organization.
• Strong presence, seen as influential & respected by leadership.
• In-depth understanding of HR law, tools, and organizational frameworks; can partner well with employment attorney, as needed.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of optimism, initiative, creativity, and empathy.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
• Paycom experience is a plus.
