New York based artist looking for a social media & marketing assistant. Majority of the time, assistant will work remotely.

Job Details:

  • Freelance/contract position
  • Assisting New York painter with shows running in NYC; one-person show opening this year
  • Working roughly 5 hours/week; paid on project-to-project basis

Ideal candidate:

  • Current college student or recent graduate
  • Background in visual arts; looking to break into NYC art world
  • Based in New York City
  • Knows how to handle social media posts (Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, and Twitter)
  • MUST know how to work VerticalResponse Classic, an email platform

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate
  • In undergrad or recently graduated
  • Background in arts, specifically visual arts/art history/curation
  • Social media knowledge
  • VerticalResponse Classic (email platform; very intuitive)
