The Associate Technical Designer will be assisting Senior Designers on all technical aspects of product created for private label brands & branded apparel. The person will be responsible as a hands-on technical designer and will work closely in developing new product lines along with Senior Designer and Desin Director. The person will work cross-functionally in a collaborative fashion with key partners in production, fit sessions, product management, packaging, sales and other relevant teams to effectively create merchandise from concept to final delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Looking for a great team player with ability to multitask
- strong organization and communication skills when collaborating with factories overseas
- Create internal tech packs and spec pages for new development sent overseas
- Create garment production tracking charts for all new proto development.
- Send comments on proto samplee construction and fit quality for samples in production development.
- Understanding of sample production calendar and sampling time line
- Must be able to commute to Mid-town Manhattan daily
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience in technical garment design in activewear for Women’s, Men’s and children experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in fashion design or related field required.
- Proficient in PLM, illustrator, Microsoft Excel, Word & photoshop
- Must be able to create sample specs with grade rules in Excel.
