CHS has nine health centers in northern Ohio. Locations include:
Fremont, Fostoria, Stony Ridge, Napoleon, Lima and Willard (seasonal). CHS accepts all payment types including:
Medicaid, Medicare, commercial and private insurance, and self-pay patients. We also offer a sliding fee scale based on family size and income.
Community Health Services is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join their team! CHS looks for talented health care professionals and support staff who are committed to providing excellent medical and dental care in the communities we serve. The Dental Hygienist is responsible for performing quality and efficient hygiene procedures while building and maintaining positive and professional relationships with patients and staff.
Responsibilities:
Performs perio exams, supra and subgingival scaling and polishing.
Implements and coordinates the treatment/preventative program described for each patient under the direction of the Dentist.
Review charts for patient care
Coordinates dental health education materials
Skills:
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA/OSHA)
Knowledge of pharmacology and medical pathology pertinent to medical history
A friendly personality
Knowledge of four handed dentistry
Performs technical skills
Assists team members
Demonstrates effective communication and organizational skills
Pays attention to detail
Excellent computer skills
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
Must hold a current hygiene license to practice in the State of Ohio
Must have up-to-date Hepatitis B immunizations
Experience as a Dental Hygienist is highly recommended
