Software Engineer (Multiple Positions) – Comexi North America, Inc. (Miami, FL)
Develop software solutions for new computer applications to distribute machinery packaging solutions. Review internal and external customer service software requirements updates. Modify and implement new software programs to improve performance. Review the electrical, electronic, and pneumatic components of packaging machines to ensure all software systems are designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained according to operational requirements. Analyze user needs and information to support helpdesk software, electronic, and process support. Collaborate with systems analysts and engineers. Consult with other departments and teams on project status and technical issues. Telecommuting permitted up to 10% of the time, depending on business need. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience. Employer will accept 2 additional years of related work experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience with the following: Providing software solutions in support of packaging machinery processes; Troubleshooting software issues; Utilizing Siemens Digital Industries Software, including Siemens Software engineering tools Step 7, Scout, Wincc, and the Totally Integrated Automation Portal (TIA); Assessing and enhancing software processes using Rexroth Software, specifically Indraworks and Wonderware Indusoft Web Studio; Utilizing Allen Bradley Software RSlogix5000 and GP-ProEX; Working with lamination and slitting machinery; and Utilizing SAP, Salesforce, and Windchill.
Travel to various locations throughout the US up to 60% required. Travel to various international locations up to 25% required.
Telecommuting permitted up to 10% of the time, depending on business need.
