ABOUT THE POSITION
We are the eCommerce DevOps team which manages Columbia Sportswear’s primary websites. This role is enabling and innovating to grow our eCommerce platform. We are an agile team that works in a Kanban format. If you are a DevOps Engineer with skills in automation, scripting, are fluent in Git and at least one programming language, then we would love to talk with you. Come join our Adventure!
Our stack is based on Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure Cloud, Jenkins/Bitbucket Pipelines/Github Actions/CircleCi, and although you don’t need to be an expert in our stack, we will want you to dive in deep, so be ready to get involved!
As a DevOps Engineer II you will use yoursolid understanding of command line interfaces (CLI), OS interfaces, SysOps – including security best practices and Operational maintenance – Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD) and Scripting to take a more active rolein managing infrastructure, development tooling, releases processes and business tools in amoderately supervisedcontext.

Works closely with Architecture and Development teams to deliver solutions that are reliable, flexible, scalable, and provide low-cost ownership
Owns and is responsible for one or more pieces of our CI/CD portfolio.
Author and review technical documentation related to processes and specifications.
Assists in the development, testing, deployment, and optimization of our eCommerce platform and integrations, utilizing industry standards and best practices
Optimize our platforms and tooling for speed, usability, and reliability to meet the current and future needs of our customers.
YOU ARE

YOUHAVE
3-5years of in DevOps or relevant experience in IT and SysOps, SysAdmin positions
3-5years of demonstrable experience with a scripting or Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) language
Minimum of 3yearsofexperience working in a distributed version control environment (Git / Subversion (SVN))
Demonstrable experience using branch management strategies
Advanced knowledge in web-based release processes
Advanced knowledge and practice of Agile principles as they relate to Scrum, Sprint planning, Project management, and Release
2-3 years direct experience building and maintaining CI/CD tooling. Jenkins/BitBucket Pipelines/Git hub Actions/CircleCi
2-3 years production experience configuring and standing up Salesforce Commerce Cloud & AWS instances a plus
Direct experience in creating and extending Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) environments
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineeringor related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
