Overall role and responsibility

• Based on overall business strategies, direct and drive strategic use of trademarks in China
• Manage and drive Chr. Hansen’s trademark portfolio and enforcement in China
• Manage Chr. Hansen’s trademark portfolio in China (and Hong Kong), including clearance, filing, prosecution, renewals and pruning in collaboration with external agents/law firms
• Manage trademark enforcement in China, including liaison with agents/law firms on administrative and judicial court cases, warning letters, oppositions, invalidations, collection of use evidence as needed
• Coordinate removals/take-downs of infringing trademarks from digital platforms
• Secure aligned execution of trademark strategies
• Provide advice and support to business re. trademark related questions, including correct trademark use
• Ensure proper competencies in team and positive team spirit
• Ensure strong alignment with other key functions fx Regulatory
• Liaise with external partners including agents/law firms, customers, authorities etc. on trademark related questions
• Assist APAC business with drafting and negotiating trademark license agreements with Chinese customers
• Conduct trademark training as needed

Qualifications / competences

Master of Law, qualified lawyer (China)

7+ years of trademark work experience from law firms/industry

Bi-lingual, fluent in Chinese and English

Good business understanding

Works independently

Good command of office software

Good inter-personal skills – flexible and good sense of humor
