Senior Corporate Recruiter – Job Description Position Description: Assist our Talent acquisition efforts to attract candidates to interview and hire great employees. A successful recruiter will collaborate with operations managers on a regular basis and proactively identify hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Ultimately, the responsibility of the Recruiter is to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.
Essential responsibilities will include: ● Embody Chicken N Pickle’s core values: Authenticity, Community, Connection, Integrity and Quality ● Demonstrates and supports a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion ● Create and maintain strong networking relationships with external talent sources ● Work as a key member in supporting the company’s Diversity Initiatives with a focus on networking and talent acquisition ● Sources and provides initial screening for all open positions. ● Schedules/guides the candidates in the interview process. ● Partners with the Director of HR to confirm approved hires. ● Works directly with the Director of HR, VP of Operations, Director of Operations and general managers to plan and implement strategies in staffing for markets. ● Maintains job postings and position descriptions. ● Establishes and maintains relationships with, career fair organizations, schools and other candidate sourcing opportunities. ● Conducts market research to determine competition recruiting activities, compensation, surveys and benefits analyses relative to the restaurant industry and target geographic areas. ● Responsible for Employment Branding; develops/designs and monitors the use of all artwork and advertising materials, including print, media, banners, and other materials utilized by the company for hiring purposes. ● Provides training (in cooperation with the Training team) and acts as a consultant/advisor to field management requiring assistance in recruiting for specific needs including hourly hiring. ● Assists in tracking and measuring management turnover as it relates to specific areas, markets and the overall organization. ● Manages the CNP Recruiting Linkedin page. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. ● Has the ability to participate in multiple time sensitive projects. ● Strong commitment to excellent customer service ● Has good communication skills – verbal and written. ● Highly organized and able to work with and direct others ● Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Required Skills/Abilities: ● Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. ● Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment. ● Excellent self-accountability for high personal standards of conduct and professionalism. ● Ability to communicate effectively with employees of all levels verbally. ● Ability to keep information confidential. ● Flexible in approach; can readily adapt to business and team needs and changes. ● Excellent interpersonal and people skills as well as verbal and written communication skills. Education and Experience: ● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field required. ● Hospitality, restaurant, or hotel experience preferred. ● At least three years of recruiting experience is preferred. Physical Requirements: ● Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. ● Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. ● Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. ● Ability to travel as necessary up to 25%.
