Job Summary
This position in the Department of Science and Mathematics Education/STEM Teaching Program is responsible for working collaboratively with other clinical faculty to teach or co-teach STEM education courses, supervise middle and secondary level mathematics and science teaching candidates in the field, develop/maintain K-12 partnerships in the central Washington area for the STEM Teaching Program, and oversee professional development for collaborating mentor teachers. The position will also provide some induction support for STEM Teaching Program graduates. Other responsibilities include creating a campus environment that is welcoming, inclusive and increasingly diverse and service to the department/program. This is a unique FTNTT faculty position that is required by the STEM Teaching Program’s contractual agreement with the UTeach Institute.

Salary: $61,740 – $68,600, Commensurate with education and experience
Appointment: Full time, non-tenure track, 10-month Appointment. Additional Summer work may be available.
