Cedar Fair Looking for Senior Application Developer at Charlotte, NC  Full Time

Cedar Fair is seeking a Senior Application Developer at our Charlotte Corporate office. The Senior Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software applications. Interact with end users to understand application requirements and create development timelines. Assist in managing the development life cycle in order to meet company goals. Provide leadership in development standards to improve the entire Cedar Fair Development Team.

Responsibilities:

• Application software design and development
• Code review and development testing
• Track development life cycle in Microsoft DevOps platform
• Development meetings including daily standups
• Administrative ie. email, meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Information System or Software Development
• 4-6 years’ work-related experience required.
• Travel Required: Yes, 5% of the time
• 5 or more years’ experience in developing on .net (c#) platform use MS Visual Studio. Experience with MS SQL or other relational data store. Advanced understanding of coding techniques and ability to perform advanced code reviews.
• Software life cycle experience. Knowledge of XML, JSON, REST, and SOAP. Experience with HTML and Java Script.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License
