Job Description
Overview:
Cedar Fair is seeking an *Infrastructure Manager* for our *Corporate Charlotte* office. The *Infrastructure Manager* is responsible for creating and maintaining a secure, reliable, and robust technology infrastructure while partnering with the rest of the Technology group. Includes managing all IT infrastructure associated with servers, storage, telecommunications, WAN, LAN, Data centers, Internet, and email.
Responsibilities:
* Create and maintain a strategic plan for IT infrastructure with a hardware life-cycle refresh program.
* Oversee the creation and management of documentation on systems, process flows. Develops daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual audits, checklists and preventive measures as needed
* Create and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for all key systems, data and services
* Communicate effectively with diverse teams across the company, internal divisions and external vendors on support updates, and project planning
* Oversees project costs, design concepts or changes. Evaluate current or emerging technologies and use independent judgment to recommend solutions based on factors like cost, complexity, time and overall efficiency value to the company
* Collaborate with other engineers, system administrators, software developers, users and management to select appropriate design solutions to ensure the compatibility of system components and enhanced efficiency.
* Managing and mentoring the infrastructure support team to include associate development, training, coaching and performance management.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree required
* 6-8 years’ work-related experience required
* Travel Required: 5%-10%
* Microsoft Technologies to include Active Directory, SQL, Client/Server, GPO, PowerShell, Office 365, Amazon Web Services, Azure Infrastructure. Knowledge: TCP/IP, routing protocols, firewalls, load balancers, storage area networks, and virtualization technologies.
* Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
* Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
* Must possess a valid Driver’s License
