Career Group Companies Event Team Looking for Graphic Designer at Irvine, CA Full Time

A popular fashion brand is looking for a Graphic Designer to join their team!

Hybrid schedule: 2 days remote, 3 days a week onsite in Irvine office.

Job description:

• Work collaboratively and constructively on all creative projects, both digital and print, to support the marketing team. This is inclusive of social/email, visual merchandising, digital ads, education materials, presentations, schematics, etc.
• Develop cohesive designs that align with the branding visuals and overall objectives.
• Maintain global brand guidelines to achieve consistency in all branding efforts with each channel and country.
• Have a keen eye for design details and be able to come up with fresh ideas to approach
• Develop direction in workable elements like sketches, motion graphics and illustrations
• Bring concepts, presentations and prototypes to life
• Contribute to fresh and new concepts for social, eCommerce, collateral, education materials and marketing touch points
• Create detailed presentations & training tools (both printed & digital)
• Assist in creating work for multi-platform social media assets- including desktop and mobile * Have solid experience in file preparation in print and web (both CMYK for print, and basic web set-up coding needed to deliver final assets into the production environment

Job Requirements

• BA in a design, creative or related field
• 3+ years’ work experience in Graphic Design
• Extensive experience in Adobe Creative Suite – primarily AI, PSD, InDesign
• Experience in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro is a plus
• Thorough understanding of typographical principles, layout and current digital design best practices
• Image editing/photo retouching skills required * Unrivaled attentive eye for quality and detail Impeccable file management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of prepress and print process in order to proactively propose alternatives to future collateral
• Basic editing skills for social media is a plus
• Basecamp experience is a plus
