What Logistics contributes to Cardinal Health
Logistics is responsible for the movement of materials and products between suppliers, manufacturing, warehousing, and the customer. Includes the management of transportation assets and systems to gain greater service, cost efficiency, and optimization of processes.
Location: Dublin, OH preferred. Flex work schedule; 3 days in office and 2 days from home.

Paid Time Off: 23 days (4.5 weeks) to start (prorated in first year)
Performs reviews of KPI’s/QBR’s on a regular basis, following the correct steps and using the appropriate tools, observing and seeking guidance from senior leadership when necessary.
Identifies root cause implications/conclusions from the logical analysis of a situation or issue.
Demonstrates a commitment to consistently providing customers a quality experience; performs necessary duties to fulfill customer service level expectations or agreements.
Communicates effectively with customers; listens to the needs and takes actions to meet the customers needs.
Demonstrates deep expertise of field operations/carrier; collaborates with internal and external management and corporate transportation to identify the drivers leading to business success.
Comprehends and demonstrates how business needs relate to Cardinal Health’s overall goals and prioritizes tasks to align with business objectives.
Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency while providing high levels of service; manages monetary assets and other resources to optimize effectiveness using lean tools.
Identifies and recommends improvements related to the site and network workflow.
Demonstrates attention to detail when requesting, compiling, and reporting information; reviews work to ensure that information complies with quality standards.
Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of protocols, policies, programs, or deliverables; compares measurement results to standards and takes immediate action to close gaps identified.
Monitors reporting tools and metric tracking systems by continually reviewing data and need.
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
5+ years’ experience in Truckload, Intermodal, and Less than Truckload Logistics preferred
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Strong excel skills (advanced level); VLOOKUP, If statements, etc
Account management experience preferred.
Carrier management experience preferred
Lean certification or equivalent experience preferred.
