Canna Style is looking for our first ever design intern to work directly with the owner and creative director Amanda Smith on designing our upcoming collections. This job is ideal for anyone looking to gain experience in the fashion industry and take their first step into the cannabis industry. This is an 8 week paid internship with the potential to turn into a full-time potion with the company,

Word of mouth is our biggest marketing channel, and we are focused on building a strong connection and community with our followers. We are a young, fast paced startup who are writing our own rules and are breaking the mold of traditional retail.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Creative Director to conceptualize, curate & design upcoming product collections
• Create and update tech packs & CAD artwork as needed
• Assist in research of trends, themes, colors, and new product categories.
• Review and pass off proto and pre-production sample comments to head of PD  
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Working towards a degree in Fashion or Product Design or prior experience in Fashion or Product Design.
• Proficient in Excel, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Must be able to commute to Long Island City, NY

Schedule:

2-3 days a week depending on workload

This is not a remote position

Pay Rate:$20 an hour
