Job Description:
We are looking for a Learning and Development leader to drive and oversee the development and execution of learning programs and processes to support operational strategic plans and business objectives. In this role, you should be passionate about inspiring, educating and engaging employees through learning and development opportunities.. Ultimately, you will help our company succeed by training and developing our people.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and execute learning strategies and programs
Evaluate individual and organizational development needs
Implement various learning methods companywide
Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other trainings
Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
Hire and oversee L&D team
Identify opportunity and deliver initiatives that ensure continued development and optimization of talent
Identify and leverage data to create a clear and thoughtful metrics driven approach to track, monitor and evaluate impact and effectiveness of initiatives
Develop a consistent and predictable operating model, including how we intake ideas and suggestions, prioritize and then deliver those improvements
Develop and use in-house subject matter experts to coordinate efforts to identify sales training needs on business needs and strategy. These in-house SMEs include our partners in sales leadership; sales segments; marketing; business partner services; sales ops; and business transformation.
Facilitate and conduct train-the-trainer workshops while building solid cross-functional relationships throughout the organization
Perform daily administration of training resources, material preparation, program and participant tracking as well as logistics planning and scheduling
Lead operational implementation of the LMS and maintenance, along with revitalization of Cambria’s current train-the-trainer program. Will utilize the Cambria LMS for content delivery, tracking, and scheduling.
Drive a collaborative and engaging team culture aligned to Cambria’s core values
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven track record of progressive HR leadership with experience in and passion for learning and development.
Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
Experience in project management and budgeting
Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
Professional certification (e.g. CPLP) is a plus
Minimum Requirements:
Education: BSc/BA in Business, Psychology or a related field
Experience: 15+ years of HR leadership, talent acquisition and talent management experience
Systems: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Proficient in Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Additional Requirements:
Managerial Responsibilities: Manage a team of direct and indirect reports
Travel Requirements: May require up to 5% out of state travel
Physical Requirements: This is an office position requiring telephone and computer use
