The Social Media Coordinator position within the Calvin Klein Global Marketing Group will assist in planning and executing social media marketing initiatives and channel management for all platforms globally.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Support yearly CMO objectives by assisting in the development of global social marketing initiatives and engagement strategies.
Co-ownership of the official content calendar, posting timeline and channel-specific details.
Coordinate content, copy and resizing requests and deadlines with respective internal departments.
Communicate social media rollouts to PR, e-comm, and respective marketing teams as needed.
Publish and/or schedule all daily content across owned social media global channels.
Create product links and work with regional teams on tracking parameters to ensure all product links can be reported on.
Assist in fulfilling licensee requests.
Assist in briefing and managing social media content and copy with respective internal departments and external agencies.
Work in collaboration with direct superior to assist in social media channel-specific strategies aligned with seasonal marketing campaigns, always-on content and events across all global channels.
Collaborate on paid social initiatives in partnership with media team and agency.
Assist in reviewing, editing and providing channel-specific recommendations for regional social content calendars.
Keep the team abreast to the latest platform updates through weekly industry updates, providing recommendations on new best practices and innovative opportunities.
Assist in the review and distribution process for all reporting.
Assist team in pulling reports and developing insights that will inform future social strategies.
Platform + Vendor Management:
Research and recommend vendors for data reporting and other analytical needs. (i.e. Sprinklr, Getty, etc)
Work in collaboration with direct superior to lead tracking and processing on social media invoices.
Assist in keeping departmental budget details up-to-date.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
2-3 years of relevant digital marketing/creative experience, in house or at an agency. Fashion, beauty and lifestyle experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required
Experience with social media platform management, with a deep understanding of popular and emerging social networks, both globally and regionally.
Active participation in a wide variety of social media activities such as community development, management and content creation.
Strong communications skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment with team members at all levels.
Resourceful and proactive, with strong organizational/project management skills and a keen attention to detail.
Strong writing and editing skills.
Analytical, with the ability to provide strategic recommendations based on data.
Passionate about fashion, art, pop culture and global events.
Ability to quickly absorb the spirit of the Calvin Klein aesthetic.
High proficiency in Keynote, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Google Drive suite.
Experience with social media publishing, analytic and listening tools.
