Job Description
Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Transport Nurse to work alongside our NICU Department
The Neonatal Transport Nurse is responsible for the provision of age appropriate critical care transport services to referring hospital customers within the Cabell Huntington Hospital regional market area
Additionally, the Neonatal Transport Nurse provides clinical assessment and resuscitation of critically ill newborns within the confines of the hospital, serves as a staff nurse within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and, through ongoing outreach, provides initial and recurrent neonatal resuscitation and care training to internal and external customers
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- ASN / Diploma in Nursing required, BSN preferred
- Current license in West Virginia required
- Maintains required CEU’s for licensure required
- NRP required
- AAP-NRP Instructor status (within year) required
- NAACOG RNC-NIC Certification preferred
- AHA BLS required
- Internal Code Pink provider required
- STABLE (within year) required
- Point of Care Lab Licensure required
- Years is Required in direct critical and intensive practice in NICU or transport related field required
