As part of the 13-week temporary nurse team you will get a higher hourly pay and the freedom to enjoy breaks throughout the year. You can also convert to Full Time or Part Time Float Pool at any time!
Your contract will be at one of the locations below:
St. Mary’s Hospital (Richmond – West End)
St. Francis Medical Center (Midlothian)
Richmond Community Hospital (Richmond-Churchill)
Memorial Regional Medical Center (Mechanicsville)
Southside Medical Center (Petersburg)
Rappahannock General Hospital (Kilmarnock)
Southern Virginia Medical Center (Emporia)
You will be assigned One of our Stepdown Units
Step Down/ Telemetry / Progressive Care (PCU)
Contract Commitment
36 hours a week – 13 week contract
Every other weekend required
Full Time night shift and day shift available
Shift differential available for night and weekend shifts
One vacation during contract
Essential Functions:
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
Provide advanced treatment and care to patients with complex diagnoses
Evaluates, updates and revises plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes
Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and Bon Secours policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Licensing & Certifications:
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association required
Experience
At least 2 years of experience for specialty areas (Stepdown/PCU)
