We are seeking a top performer ready to take the next step in their sales career and join our team as an Account Executive, SS&C Intralinks.
The Account Executive is a highly motivated sales professional who enjoys prospecting daily and is skilled at qualifying new customer opportunities, capable of challenging a prospect’s existing business practices, introducing the Intralinks service, conducting deep discovery, and mapping customer business pains to the Intralinks solutions. This is a quota carrying field sales position covering a variety of investment banks and law firms in the Greater Boston area.
This territory will have a number of named accounts as well as the potential to identify new accounts within the territory. The accounts are primarily Investment Banks and Law Firms both with a deep universe of use cases and thousands of client contacts/personas to engage. The Account Executive will work to cover the territory and build deeper relationships in the field with the opportunity to upsell existing business and identify new business. They will be responsible for account mapping and conducting whitespace analysis to further grow within the current accounts.

What You Will Get To Do:

Develop sales strategy and account plans within an assigned account portfolio to gain greater market share that includes proactive research of potential deal activities and trends.

Become an industry expert in the Boston M&A community

Run qualified opportunities through the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through close in the territory

Prospect for new business daily through a combination of target account prospecting and using existing relationships

Proficient in leading both in-person and virtual high value customer meetings, product demonstrations and customer presentations

Execute a high field presence strategy to build and maintain long-term relationships by meeting or exceeding customer expectations for future sales and services

Articulate and persuade the value of Intralinks solutions can solve, leverage the brand, scale, and market position to place Intralinks as a competitive advantage

Expertly handle time to focus on activities that grow pipeline and revenue

Understanding of key buying personas and ability to discuss meaningful business challenges for each

Act as a coach and mentor to less experienced members of the team

Contribute to the development of sales strategy through input of ideas and suggestions to senior management team
What You Will Bring:

3-7 years of quota carrying field sales experience

Perennial sales achiever that regularly exceeds sales revenue targets

Situationally fluent in front of the customer, ready to respond and adapt to what they are saying and to effectively counter objections by differentiating Intralinks solutions and value

Able to identify and deliver the “compelling event” for the customer to buy

Consistently demonstrates the ability to generate new business and grow existing revenue streams via effective prospecting, opportunity identification, account management and communications skills

Track record of consistently exceeding sales activity metrics to achieve success

Ability to work in a dynamic, team environment
