The Mobile App Developer position will work in a team environment with accountability for delivering high quality product for our market needs. This role will work in collaboration with the Software Development Team to design, build, and maintain mobile apps. This will encompass the entire lifecycle of BG Products mobile apps: planning, architecture, development, testing, and support/maintenance.

• Design, build, deliver and maintain mobile app solutions using the React Native and native mobile frameworks.
• Confer with team leadership to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
• Identify risks, issues, and assumptions as they arise – work with stakeholders to identify and resolve quickly.
• Plan and architect mobile apps from the ground up.
• Establish software work estimates and scheduling.
• Translate business needs/goals and requirements into technical requirements and technical specifications.
• Implement code in a clean, modular, and reusable way.
• Work with native mobile app development environments such and X Code and Android Studio.
• Maintain understanding of current React Native, iOS, and Android framework technologies or programming practices through continuing education, reading, or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups.
• Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback, and correct problems.
• Help research and solve issues with stability, performance, and reported bugs.
• Identify and solve technology-related bottlenecks, and provide enhancements to existing code base.
• Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
• Debug/resolve crashes and performance issues.
• Collaborate with the design team to build a clean user experience.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year’s of mobile development experience required.
• Experience with one or more of the following preferred: Java Script, Java, Objective C, Swift.
• Experience with Android development (Java, Kotlin), iOS development (Objective C, Swift), and other mobile frameworks.
