The Strategy Analyst role will lead all market intelligence related activities to support Strategic planning process and global strategic initiatives. He or she will be responsible for analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry data to drive strategic decision-making and also play a key role in the strategic planning process to influence strategic decisions, including vertical market assessment and selection. The ideal candidate will have very strong analytical skills, strategic thinking mindset, along with solid business acumen. This position will report to the Senior Director of Strategic Marketing within our Industrial Automation Solutions platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to identify strategic opportunities and risks.
• Develop and maintain market models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making at both global and regional levels.
• Develop and sustain processes to collect, aggregate, and disperse market data and insights within the organization to serve different business needs, including managing the database of market data/reports.
• Lead the assessment and prioritization of vertical markets and use cases under the strategic planning process.
• Conduct research and analysis on industry topics, competitive threats, and market trends to provide insights to management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry experts and market research firms.
• Support the development of business cases and investment proposals for new initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Economics, Analytics, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in strategy or business analysis, preferably in the industrial automation industry.
• Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with data visualization and modeling tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SAS preferred.
• Past experiences in relevant industries or consulting/market research firms are preferred.
• Flexibility to travel 10% or more, both domestically and internationally
