Austin Sunshine Camps has been providing overnight summer camp experiences, without the barrier of cost, since 1928. We serve historically underinvested youth in Central Texas by providing four 10-day sessions of overnight summer camp. Join our team and be a part of the magic!
At Austin Sunshine Camps, we are looking for innovative, hard-working, radical change-makers who believe in the power of summer camp and believe that all kids deserve a place to grow, connect and explore. At ASC, you will probably work the hardest you’ve worked in your life and make better friends and memories than you can imagine. We are firmly committed to personal and professional growth for each member of our team. That relationship begins next summer and continues for a lifetime. Our camp Counselors are the biggest piece of making our camp a *magical* experience for our kiddos! You will be leading your very own cabin, leading activities, and assisting with the ins and outs of our wonderful summer camp.
We pride ourselves in creating an environment for our counselors that focuses on their well-being, mental health, and overall experience with us in the summer. Some things we provide are 4 day weekend between each session PLUS a mid-summer break of 11 days! We provide housing and food while camp is in session. As well as provide competitive (transparent) wages for the industry!
