Trainees are expected to work 37.5 hours per week and may have additional game day responsibilities, depending on department and assignments. The individuals who participate in this program are non-exempt, paid hourly, eligible for overtime, and are benefit-eligible after 60 days (medical, dental, vision).
Department Overview
The Event Logistics Department supports the operational aspects of all events at Truist Park on a year-round basis. These include but are not limited to external clients, corporate contractual, internal and gameday events. The purpose of the department is to centralize and improve communication, increase operational efficiency, and ensure standardization.
Job Description
The Event Logistics Trainee supports the Director, Managers and Coordinators of the department with operational needs, set-up for events, fulfill asset/item requests, inventory, and storage. The primary focus for the Trainee will be acting as Manager on Duty for at least half of the 81 home games for the Atlanta Braves. Lastly, this position will play a lead role in the hiring, training, and scheduling of year-round Event Operations Logistics Team (EOLT).
