JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and talented Content Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting various marketing initiatives, with a primary focus on managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, developing marketing campaigns, and adding content to our website. The candidate should be a skilled writer with a keen eye for SEO, capable of crafting compelling copy that resonates with our target audiences. Familiarity with HubSpot or other content management systems (CMS) is highly desirable. Experience in paid advertising, such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and YouTube, is a definite plus.
Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, X, YouTube, etc.) to enhance brand visibility, attract and engage prospective/current clients, and grow follower base.
- Build and manage a social media calendar.
- Create, curate, and schedule content that aligns with marketing objectives, including copywriting and developing accompanying graphics.
- Stay up to date on social media trends and engage with the online community.
- Monitor, analyze, and provide reporting for performance and insights.
Content Creation and Copywriting:
- Meet with leadership, management, and/or subject matter experts to understand content needs and brainstorm topics.
- Produce high-quality written content for various marketing channels, including the website, our blog, social media, press releases, newsletters, ebooks, emails, and marketing materials.
- Ensure content is optimized for SEO, when applicable, to drive organic traffic.
Website Management:
- Utilize HubSpot for managing social posts, sending emails and newsletters, and making website edits.
- Provide support to direct managers with analytics and reporting.
Digital Advertising:
- Assist in the management of digital advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and YouTube.
- Provide support for reporting and developing insights.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
REQUIRED
- 3+ years proven experience in social media management, content creation, and developing marketing campaigns.
- Exceptional writing skills with a focus on SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Experience with PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Initiative-taker with ability to work autonomously.
- Demonstrates a natural curiosity to explore and understand new concepts, coupled with a dedicated work ethic to drive continuous improvement, and achieve results.
PREFERRED
- Master’s degree.
- Experience with HubSpot or other CMS platforms for website copy and image editing.
- Knowledge in digital paid advertising platforms and tactics (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads, YouTube Advertising).
- Experience in capturing compelling visuals to enhance marketing materials and maintain a consistent brand image through photography and/or video.
- Video editing capabilities.
