The Role
Ashby is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Demand Generation. In this role you will get to own the end-to-end development and execution of our demand gen programs with the support of an incredible marketing team. In doing so you will get to operate creatively â testing into new channels and optimizing ones (such as ABM and LinkedIn) that are already working well. Ashby is a unique opportunity in that we have incredible product market fit, great traction, but a relatively nascent demand generation program â with public launch only occurring last September. This is an opportunity to have a huge impact, test creatively, and build a team over time.
Success in this role over the next 6-months will be measured on your ability to build a deep understanding of our ideal customer profileâs motivations and behaviors, further optimize and operationalize our already very successful ABM motion, and to have experimented and found additional medium term marketing channels for our business to continue scaling into.
Responsibilities
Strategy Development: Develop and refine the demand gen strategy, including campaign planning, targeting, and segmentation to maximize lead generation and revenue growth.
Campaign Execution: Create, launch, and manage integrated demand generation campaigns across multiple channels (e.g., email marketing, social media, content marketing, events) to attract and engage the target audience, utilizing tools like Hubspot, Keyplay, and Apollo.
Content Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling and targeted content assets (e.g., whitepapers, case studies, webinars) that resonate with the mid-market audience and drive demand. You will have content and design support on the development of these assets.
Sales Alignment: Partner closely with the sales team to deeply understand the sales cycle, generate high-quality leads, and optimize lead handoff processes to ensure seamless coordination between marketing and sales.
Metrics and Analysis: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop a measurement framework to track and report on the success of demand generation initiatives. Analyze campaign data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize performance.
Budget Management: Set clear targets for the demand generation team, define budgets, and analyze and report on team performance and return on investment (ROI).
